the founder of the Reinsma Homes, and his family have always been rooted in Chicago's south suburbs and the surrounding areas. After moving around the Chicagoland area Reinsma settled in Lansing, IL in 1953 and has been there since. Reinsma started in the building business in 1961 doing remodeling work and building custom homes. After building Manor Condominiums and Forest View Condominiums in Lansing and Harrison Heights in Munster, IN, Reinsma began building more single family homes. He found that working with individuals and customizing his plans to meet their needs was most rewarding and has since continued to build single family homes in the area.

Over the years Reinsma Homes has been an integral part of the landscape of the south suburbs including building projects in Lansing, Lynwood, South Holland, Crete, Beecher, Munster and University Park. Stan Reinsma and his son Bill have also been involved in the Lansing and Lynwood Chambers of Commerce, both serving as president for a number of years.

Reinsma Homes has always involved family in the business including brothers, sons and extended family. Stan's son Bill is now general manager along with other family members in various positions throughout the company. Reinsma Homes has also enjoyed long relationships with their trusted staff and trades contractors, some having worked with us for over 40 years.

We have truly loved this business, not only for having a hand in building new quality homes, but for the wonderful people we have met and worked with over the years. We have always worked hard to build quality homes and have prided ourselves in following up on any issue that may arise.
